About Sharita
Sharita L. Thompson is a proud United States Veteran, community advocate, and dedicated leader running to represent District B on the Missouri City Council. With her unique blend of military service, professional expertise, and nonprofit leadership, Sharita has devoted her life to empowering others and strengthening communities. She currently serves as the Founder & Owner of Crown Legacy Consulting, LLC, and as the Founder of The Veteran’s Life Fountain, a nonprofit that supports service members and their families. Sharita also contributes her leadership locally as Secretary/Treasurer of the Park’s Edge Homeowners Association. Her experience as a parent, homeschool educator, and occupational psychologist gives her a deep understanding of the challenges families, professionals, and seniors face in our city every day.
Community Involvement
Sharita actively contributes to the Missouri City community through her volunteer service on the Park’s Edge Community HOA Board. As a member of the very first leadership team for this subdivision, she has played a key role in laying the foundation for effective neighborhood governance and has quickly proven herself to be an invaluable asset to the board and residents alike.

Sharita’s vision is clear: a safer, stronger, and more connected Missouri City. With her leadership, experience, and heart for service, District B will have a voice that listens, advocates, and delivers real results.
Free Time Activities
In her free time, Sharita enjoys reading, listening to music, and cherishing quality moments with family and friends—a top priority in her life. Deeply committed to service, she also volunteers with the National Association of Black Military Women (NABMW), Pi Mu Phi Inc. Military Sorority, and The Veteran’s Life Fountain nonprofit organization, reflecting her ongoing dedication to supporting veterans and strengthening her community.
